‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 spoilers: All Starks will die in the end, suggests fan theory; ‘The Winds of Winter’ still far from release as ‘GoT’ nears airdate

A Redditor proposed a shocking theory regarding the fate of the Starks in the upcoming episodes of "Game of Thrones," and all it makes sense. The Starks will reportedly get into a civil war to gain their right to rule the North, leading to a bloodshed.

According to a Reddit user zroberts1207, the original title of George RR Martin's final book in the series of "A Song of Ice and Fire" is called "A Time for Wolves" that hints at a turf war between Bran, Arya, Sansa and Jon Snow. It is this fight for power between the four Stark protagonists that will eventually lead to their tragic end.

Zroberts1207 writes in his post that North will be at the cusp of a civil war which will mean an end of the Stark family to finally conclude the series. The Redditor also explained that House Stark's sigil is a direwolf, which means a reference to wolves always means a reference to Stark. The user also pointed out to Leaf's conversation wit Bran in Season 6 about direwolves will outlast everyone but their time will come too.

Meanwhile, George RR Martin revealed a big update recently indicating the potential release date of his much-awaited book, "The Winds of Winter." According to the author's official blog, GRRM explained to his fans that the book series may be out this year. He wrote in his post, "Not done yet, but I've made progress. But not as much as I hoped a year ago, when I thought to be done by now. I think it will be out this year. (But hey, I thought the same thing last year)."

As the fans wait impatiently for the author's next book to release, the fans were able to take screenshots of IMDb's big reveal about "Game of Thrones" season 7 release date. As per the post, the upcoming season will air on June 25. However, the post has been taken down since then, The Independent reported.
