''Persona 5'' the sixth instalment of the popular video game, which is all set to be released on April 4 on Playstation 3 and 4 is coming up with a series of new characters or confidants. As per the latest update, Shinya Oda is a new character who will help the gamers with their shooting skills.

According to Videogames Republic, Shinya Oda is a new confidant who will guide the players with their skills with firearms. This character is a master at "Gun About" and the players can expect some new excitement with the inclusion of new characters in the game.

At this point in time, the avid gamers of this series can use the downloadable content packs and the developers have been giving the details of the same via Twitter. The gamers who are playing the  role-playing games are happy with the new DLC costume sets which are released from "Persona 4," "Shin Megami Tensei IV," "Catherine," "Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha" and "Persona 4: Dancing All Night."

Hence, the regular players of this franchise now can find a lot of similarities with the previous versions of the Persona series, while the gamers from North America wait for the release of the game in English. According to iDigitalTimes, Yasogami High looks are coming to this new instalment.

The franchise's first instalment ''Revelations: Persona'' was a smashing hit and the second instalment ''Persona 2: Innocent Sin'' was released in Japan in 1999 for the PlayStation. This game had new features for the enjoyment of the players. The plot of this game was set in the coastal city of Sumaru in Japan. The protagonist Tatsuya Suou, a student of Seven Sisters High takes on the bad guy, a villainous figure called the Joker.

This game was re-released in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable and was released for the gamers of North America too. The original game was released only for the Japanese players, however, the popularity of the game forced the makers Atlus to release it for the PSP version and it was entitled ''Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin.''
