The midseason finale of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 gave avid fans a chance to see some of their beloved characters behaving differently than usual. After Regina embarked on a solo rescue mission to get Emma back from the Wish Realm, the two ladies met the said world's versions of some of their Storybrooke friends.

Viewers also saw the surprising return of a deceased character namely Robin (Sean Maguire). Apart from Regina's beau, the two Storybrooke residents will also meet the Wish Realm version of their friend Belle, according to spoilers posted on TVLine.

Similar to how other Storybrooke characters were given slightly different versions of themselves in Wish Realm, avid fans of the ABC series will see a Belle "like [they've] never seen her before." However, it is unclear if the Wish Realm Belle will also form a romantic relationship with Rumple (Robert Carlyle).

Meanwhile, Belle and Rumple have a tragic lovestory in Storybrooke. With Rumple's previous villainous actions, coupled with the prophecy of how their son Gideon (Giles Matthey) will kill Emma, Belle will have a hard time trusting Rumple to help stop the said prediction from coming true.

For avid fans hoping for a potential Belle and Rumple reconciliation, showrunner Eddy Kitsis teased that there may be a chance for the said couple to get back together again. In an earlier interview with TV Guide, Kitsis highlighted how "Once Upon a Time" is a show about hope.

The showrunner stated, "For us, people face adversity. People split up. They come together and I have hope for them."

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will release its midseason premiere on March 5 on ABC. Watch a teaser clip below:
