'My Hero Academia' Season 2 exact release date on March; New members introduced

"My Hero Academia" Season 2 release date has been highly anticipated by anime fans. Fans would not have to wait too long for the previously announced April release, for a much earlier March release date has been confirmed.

"My Hero Academia" or otherwise known as "Boku no Hero Academia" that was released last year had captivated many audiences. That is why Bones Studio decided to make a follow-up of the anime after its successful season 1. It has been previously revealed by Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump that "Boku no Hero Academia" is due for release April this year.

However, in an unprecedented turn of events, a change of release schedule was revealed by Nippon TV and Yomiuri TV, according to Comic Book. Based on the report, the release date has been moved from April to March 25 this year.

Apart from "My Hero Academia" Season 2 release date, no other significant changes were confirmed. The season 2 of "Boku no Hero Academia" would still be directed by Kenji Nagasaki, while Yousuke Kuroda remains as the in-charge of the script. In terms of the animation, Yoshihiko Umakoshi would still serve as the character designer and chief animation director, according to Anime News Network.

Moreover, the same website also highlighted the new cast members of the upcoming "Boku no Hero Academia" Season 2. The sequel will include Kōhei Amasaki as Neito Monoma, Miho Masaka as Ibara Shiozaki, Kōji Okino as Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Saki Ogasawara as Itsuka Kendō, and Azu Sakura as Mei Hatsume.

The upcoming anime follow-up will focus on "U.A. Sports Festival Arc" of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga, the fifth story arc in "Boku no Hero Academia." As part of the transition, the existence and attack of the Villain Alliance will be discussed in the upcoming season, including its mysterious and childlike ringleader Tomura Shigaraki as witnessed in the season 1 of the anime.
