Tottenham has drawn two straight games after going on a six-game winning streak.

The Spurs was held to a 0-0 draw by cellar-dwelling team Sunderland in their most recent Premier League fixture last Tuesday held on the road at the Stadium of Light, as per Sports Mole.

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino was certainly disappointed after his squad was not able to score even a single goal in the entire match against a Black Cats team that is not known for their defense.

Despite the draw, the team has overtaken Arsenal to the second spot in the overall standings after the Gunners' loss in the previous round. They are now tied on points with Arsenal, but has a higher goal differential than the Gunners, as both squads are nine points behind league leaders Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough has been winless in their last six outings. The last time the team had won was back in December as they routed Swansea City at home. As a result, the Boro had dropped to the 15th spot of the league table, only two points above the bottom three relegation zone.

The Smoggies are coming off a 1-1 tie with West Bromwich Albion also last Tuesday at their home ground of Riverside Stadium, SkySports reported.

West Brom opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a goal by midfielder James Morrison, but head coach Aitor Karanka's squad was able to equalize in the 17th minute with a successful penalty kick by Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo off a hard foul by Baggies defender Gareth McAuley.
