Contending club Atalanta BC (12-7-3, 39 points) will square off with newly-promoted team Cagliari Calcio (8-11-3, 27 points) in a 2016-2017 Serie A season match at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia on Feb. 5, Sunday.

Atalanta has kept its sixth spot in the overall standings as the team has been unbeaten in five of their last six matches. They are on a two-game undefeated run after dropping their only loss in the last six rounds against Lazio in the middle of last month.

Torino winger Iago Falque opened the scoring in the 16th minute of the match with a header from the center of the box off a cross by defender Antonio Barreca.
However, Italian striker Andre Petagna was able to find the equalizer for head coach Gian Piero Gasperini's squad in the 66th minute with a right-footed shot from a pass by Slovenian midfielder Jasmin Kurtic.
Meanwhile, Cagliari has been mercurial in their last six outings with two wins, three losses, and one draw. The team is currently settled in the 14th spot of the league table, 14 points above the bottom three relegation area.

After a goalless first half of play, Bologna forward Mattia Destro broke the game's deadlock in the 64th minute before two of his teammates, Federico Viviani and Emil Krafth, were sent off in the 88th and 90th+1 minutes respectively because of separate hard fouls.
Head coach Massimo Rastelli's side was then able to equalize the match one minute after the second red card to salvage the draw.
