AMD Ryzen is expected to overthrow Intel from its throne in the processor market. The new leaked processor lineup shows that AMD's njavascript:;ew chips will have eight, six and four cores for variety.

The performance of the AMD Ryzen chips have been demonstrated in the recent Consumer Electronics Show 2017. Together with the company's new Vega GPU, the demo rig was able to run "Doom" at 4K with an average frame rate of 70 frames per second.

AMD's Ryzen processor lineup could see a total of 17 chips based on the leaked list from Chinese website Coolaler. The least powerful chip was a quad-core processor which means dual-core variants are out of the picture.

The alleged list of AMD Ryzen chips may be targeted for the desktop customers only. Some of Intel's lineup for mobile chips include Core i7 processors that are dual-core. AMD may also do the same although the company might be focusing on the desktop and server market for now.

AMD Ryzen's SR7 range could be considered the high-end line as all of the chips are octa-core processors with 16-threads. The 32-core Naples seems to be absent which means that the list could be targeted for mainstream and gaming PC users.

There are also octa-core equivalents in the SR5 range while the SR3 range has quad-core counterparts with four threads as well. Unfortunately, there is no price shown in the list.

Most of the AMD Ryzen SR5 and SR3 processors will be able to take on Intel's top i7-7700k and lower-tiered chips hopefully with a lower price range, Forbes reported. If AMD's processors are found to be better than Intel's, the latter may be forced to lower their prices or offer better ones at the same range.

AMD's Dr. Lisa Su already confirmed in a conference that they will be launching all of the Ryzen chips at launch. The Vega GPUs will also be available by then
