A new 12-inch Samsung tablet called Galaxy Tab Pro S2 running on Windows 10 is expected to get unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The entire specifications of the tablet have surfaced.

According to the listing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S2 on Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the tablet would be arriving with a 12-inch Super AMOLED display. It would be supporting a resolution of 1,440 x 2,166 pixels.

The device will be powered by the seventh-generation Intel Core i5-7200 processor that clocks at 3.1 GHz along with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The native storage of the device is mentioned as 128 GB with FCC.

The Galaxy Tab Pro S2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera and it houses a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. It will come loaded with Windows 10 OS. Speculations suggest that the tablet would be housing a 5,070 mAh 39W battery that will be available with a 25W Turbo Charger, The Leaker reported.

The device is expected to come in two variants. One of them is expected to support only Wi-Fi connectivity whereas the other one would be carrying support for Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity. Samsung is expected to sell the tablet with accessories like S-Pen stylus and Type Cover.

According to FCC listing, the tablet has a model number of SM-W727V. The inclusion of V in its model number indicates that the tablet will be exclusively sold through Verizon. The tablet measures 287.5 x 196 x 348 mm.

The original Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro tablet was launched in 2014 and now the company seems to be working on the release of its successor. Since the tablet has been certified by FCC and it has been spotted in Bluetooth SIG documents, the arrival of Galaxy Tab Pro S2 is slated to get announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event.

Samsung has hinted that it will be unleashing the Galaxy Tab S2 on Feb. 27. The tablet features a 9.6-inch display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat, USB Type-C port and S-Pen stylus support. Speculations are rife that the Seoul-based company would be showcasing a preview of Galaxy S8 smartphone at the MWC 2017.
