Marvel and Netflix released the first official trailer for Marvel's "Iron Fist" on Feb. 7, following the release of the initial teaser at the 2016 New York Comic-Con. The superhero series will see the debut of Finn Jones as the martial artist with mythical powers.

The trailer opens with the Iron Fist saying, "Hi. I'm Danny Rand. I've been away a long time," as he makes his way into the company headquarters of his parents after being gone for 15 years. He disappeared following the plane crash that killed both his mom and dad, causing everyone to presume that he was also dead.

The "Game of Thrones" alum will play the role of the superhero who comes home to fight the baddies. The martial artist spent his time away training in the mysterious K'un L'un, where he has learned to develop his glowing fist. In the series, the power of his fist is equivalent to a hundred jackhammers.

According to Variety, the Marvel series will follow the Iron Fist as he makes a tough choice between his past and his duties as the Iron Fist. Although he is grateful for the legacy of his parents, he might have to forget everything when the need to fight the threats comes.

In the first official trailer, Claire Temple asks the "hero with special skills" to help the other superheroes take down the enemies, referring to the Iron Fist. The series stars Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum. Rosario Dawson and Carrie Anne Moss will also reprise their roles from their previous Marvel series.

According to MTV, Wing and Temple will be the ones to help the reluctant superhero as he punches his way to victory. The story will reportedly follow Danny Rand, the son of billionaire parents who has been bestowed with ancient powers by a mysterious force, as he reclaims his parents' company and takes on the new enemy that seeks to wreak havoc in New York City.
