Many YouTubers are now calling it the biggest YouTube glitch that has ever happened on the video sharing website. Well-known vloggers from different channels were flabbergasted upon noticing that an insane number of their subscribers were chomped off from their channel that caused quite a stir among them.

The unsub glitch was noticed by a few content makers at first which includes the YouTuber that goes by the moniker BlackScreenTV, according to The Next Web. The said channel even began streaming the anomaly since Feb. 6 and has posted subscriber counts of famed vloggers such as Ethan and Hila's H3H3 Productions, iDubbbzTV and PewDiePie.

The glitch is characterized as every time a subscriber "unsubs," such action will deduct 2 subscribers from the channel resulting in a drastic drop in the number of subscribers if done repeatedly or collectively. Trolls from the imageboard website - 4chan have even begun bombing their hated YouTuber's with unsub clicks hence killing the channel, Gizmodo reported.

YouTube, on the other hand, tweeted a message acknowledging the said concern and assured affected parties that they are currently working on a fix. However, PewDiePie also tweeted claiming that every time someone unsubs on his channel, 100 subscribers are being taken off. He even went live for a few minutes as soon as he found out about the bug and advised his Bro Army not to unsub. However, the said video was no longer in circulation.

As of late, it looks like the issue has been resolved as PewDiePie's fanbase was reinstated to its original 53 million mark. During the unsub fiasco, the YouTuber's subscriber count went as low as 52 million in just a few hours.
