"Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel "Fifty Shades Darker" is currently in theaters, but the team behind the film is planning to take fans' viewing experience to a whole new level. The masquerade scene in "Fifty Shades Darker" is the scene where Christian Grey takes Anastasia Steele shortly after they rekindle their romance. As per CinemaBlend, the scene is now available on the film's official YouTube page.

The scene allows players to join the entire event and even catch a glimpse of Christian and Anastasia's moments. As a matter of fact, Christian will even pass you by in the scene and give you a quick hello. The VR scene also reveals hidden clues about the film's contents. Another scene also shows Christian and Ana escaping upstairs perhaps to make out and more.

The "Fifty Shades Darker" virtual reality promotional materials were confirmed last year by director James Foley.

"Yeah, there's marketing materials for behind-the scenes [of Fifty Shades Darker], where after we finished shooting for the day, the actors would stay over and VR people would re-create a facsimile of the scene," Foley told Deadline. It wasn't revealed whether "Fifty Shades" will release more VR materials in the coming days.

Although the movie didn't receive glamorous reviews from critics, "Fifty Shades Darker" did fairly well in the box office. The weekend opening saw completely different movies going head to head for the top box office prize. "Fifty Shades Darker" was up against "The LEGO Batman Movie" and "John Wick: Chapter 2" and went home victorious.

The steamy kinky drama took home first place, with $5.7 million at the box office. "The LEGO Batman Movie" and "John Wick: Chapter 2" tied with $2.2 million in their pockets. Both films, however, do better than "Fifty Shades" on Rotten Tomatoes. "LEGO Batman" and "John Wick" are rated 90 percent and 91 percent respectively, while "Fifty Shades" only has 9 percent.

However, early tracking suggests that "LEGO Batman" will take over "Fifty Shades" to win the weekend with more than a $60 million increase

"Fifty Shades Darker" is directed by James Foley and based on a script written by Niall Leonard adapted from the E.L. James novel.
