It is not a secret anymore that Angelina Jolie is going through a rough time, as she is divorcing her husband Brad Pitt, with whom she has six children. The 41-year-old actress opened up about her impending divorce from the actor and the effect it has had on their children.

On Feb. 21, Tuesday, Jolie sat down for an exclusive interview with ABC News' "Good Morning America" to talk about her impending divorce from Pitt. As the proceedings move forward, the Hollywood star's top priority is her six children.

"We are focusing on the health of our family," Jolie said. "So we will be stronger when we come out of this because that's what we're determined to do as a family."

Despite their divorce, the "Tomb Raider" actress said Pitt is still a great father to their six children. She then reiterated that they will always be a family no matter what happens.

Jolie echoed the same sentiment during a sit-down interview with BBC News on Feb. 18, Saturday. There, she opened up for the first time about how she is coping in the wake of the split from her estranged husband.

"It was very difficult," Jolie said about the weeks since she filed for divorce in September 2016. "My whole family have all been through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children."

Jolie then reiterated that she is putting her children first. She added that in five years' time, she envisions herself spending time supporting them in the interesting things they will be doing around the world.

Despite the troubles with her personal life, Jolie's career has never been better. Her new movie "First They Killed My Father," which will be released on Netflix sometime this year, is dedicated to each individual who died and survived under the Khmer Rouge, according to Entertainment Tonight. It also focuses on the love and dedication of a Cambodian family.
