"Horizon: Zero Dawn" has its weapons color-coded to show its rarity. Aloy, the video game's heroine, will start with the green uncommon weapons, and eventually will get the very rare purple ones. Players will need to purchase these purple weapons from the Hunting Goods merchants once they reach the Meridian area.

Players do not have to worry about shopping around for the best deal. All gears sold at other merchants have the same prices as with the other ones in the game. Here are the requirements on how to get the top-tier weapons for Aloy to use in this game.

The Shadow Ropecaster will need 500 Metal Shards plus a Snapmaw Heart, according to US Gamer. This weapon fires ropes to tie down and disable machines during battle, and has a base rating of 150 tear damage. This is an optional weapon for players because they can finish it without using one, but it can be a vital part of their arsenal if used well.

The Shadow Sling needs 650 Metal Shards and one Crystal Braiding, and it fires Freeze, Shock and Fire Bombs. The Crystal Braiding loot can be dropped by Rockbreakers, Behemoths, Storbirds, Thunderjaws, and Deathbringers in "Horizon: Zero Dawn."

750 Metal Shards and one Scrapper Heart are needed for purchasing the Shadow Tripcaster weapon. It fires Shock, Explosive, and Fire Traps. It will come with a Shock Trap at first, but players can upgrade it with the other traps once they start taking on the other larger machines.

For some serious damage, the Shadow Sharpshot is what the players would need, and it can be purchased for 800 Shards and one Sawtooth Heart. While it can pack a serious punch, it is really slow in battle, which means they will need to make their shots count when firing this weapon. It can fire Hardpoint, Tearblast, and Harvest Arrows.

The Shadow Rattler is the most expensive weapon to purchase, which costs 950 Shards, one Boar Skin, one Rabbit Skin, and one Fox Skin, according to Segment Next. There is a particular reason for that pricing, which is its likeness to a machine gun, and it can deal a lot of damage to an enemy.

The best standard bow in "Horizon: Zero Dawn" is the Shadow Hunter Bow, which costs 650 Metal Shards and one Watcher Heart. Players will have no problem finding a Watcher Heart because the Watchers are basically everywhere in this game.
