Iraqi forces have captured some burka-clad ISIS militants who resorted to cross dressing as women in a bid to escape fighting fierce battles in Northern Iraq. A series of bizarre photographs unveiled on Instagram show the ISIS soldiers donning metallic bras and lipsticks in an attempt to leave the battlefield unhindered.

In one of the photos, a man pulls the burka back to show his floral dress and pink trousers. However, in what appears to be a desperate attempt to flee from the ISIS mainland, the man forgot to shave his moustache off.

Another image shows a soldier donning metallic bra under the burka to hide his identity. The same set of photos show another young soldier glammed up in a baby pink lipstick and eye shadow.

The terrified soldiers in the photo series seem to finally realize the advantages of being women. The ISIS partly adheres to Sharia law that prohibits women from fighting.

Meanwhile, these images have spruced up shortly after the beheading of three Iraqi men accused of homosexuality.

Some gruesome photos of dead ISIS militants have also been uploaded in the photo series, Daily Mail reported. The photos are taken in an area called Baiji in Iraq, according to the captions provided in the Instagram account.

Iraqi troops and militia are fighting against ISIS with support from a US-led coalition and Iran. Some of the ISIS escapees are photographed with senior officers from the Iraqi army in the pictures.

ISIS is hard-pressed to defend their dominated area with bombs and suicide attacks but a 20,000 plus force of Iraqi soldiers and militiamen are making substantial gains, according to Mirror. These recent photos of fleeing ISIS soldiers prove the fact that ISIS is no more a dream organization for Jihadists.

The number of soldiers caught is unknown.
