For those who have watched and stayed up until the end credits of "Kong: Skull Island," then you probably have an idea as to what Legendary Entertainment has in-store for the future. However, for those who didn't make it up to the end credits, here's what you have missed.

According to the Insider, the extra scene shows that after the two characters returned home from Skull Island, Tom Hiddleston (who portrayed as James Conrad) together with Brie Larson (who is playing the role of Mason Weaver) is seen in an interrogation room talking to an unidentified person.

Wanting badly to get out of the room and finally go home, Conrad offered that he'd tell no one about the island or about any giant gorilla walking around. On the other hand, Weaver says the opposite and says that she will tell the Russians about the said island.

Houston Brooks and San Lin (played by actors Corey Hawkins and Jing Tian respectively) burst into the room and explained how Kong is not the only 'king' in the world, Games Radar reported. Brooks and Lin are both a Monarch representative and that Conrad and Weaver are now a part of the Monarch as well.

Further information about the Monarch will soon unfold, and as well as the monsters that the organization researches in the following sequels.

The two shared confidential files to both Conrad and Weaver, showing to them documentary photos of primitive paintings that clearly illustrates Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. The last photo that was shown was Godzilla battling with King Ghidorah.

In relation to this, Legendary Entertainment has already set a release date to its upcoming film of "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" on March 22, 2019 and another movie titled "Godzilla VS Kong," which will be released on May 29, 2020.

Indie Wire reported that the next "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" will be directed by Michael Dougherty who is famous for his projects such as "Trick 'r Treat" and "Krampus." However, Legendary Entertainment made no announcement yet as to who will be the director or the screenwriter for the film "Godzilla VS Kong."
