Meanwhile, here are some interesting facts we know so far about "Transformers: The Last Knight."

Movie goes back in time?

Last year, the film stirred was embroiled in a huge controversy after Bay was accused of disrespecting Winston Churchill's old home, the Blenheim Palace, by using it as one of the set locations and decorating it with Nazi flags. This led fans to speculate that some of the action will be taking place in the World War II or be related to it to some extent.

There were also reports that historical characters such as King Arthur and Merlin would make an appearance in the film. According to Cheat Sheet, several actors were spotted wearing medieval garb and riding horses on set.

Combaticons are coming

In the past "Transformers" movies, viewers were introduced to Autobots and Decepticons. Combaticons, on the other hand, tend to take the form of military vehicles. The downside? They are allies with the Decepticons. When combined, all the Combaticons form one super robot known as Bruticus.

Is Optimus Prime turning bad?

One of the "Transformers: The Last Knight" posters show Optimus' eyes colored purple instead of blue. Some theorize that Optimus will somehow be corrupted in "The Last Knight" or that his doppelgänger Nemesis Prime will make an appearance.
