New mother Eva Mendes, 41, was interviewed recently by AJ Calloway of "Extra's" and this is the first time she publicly talked about motherhood as well as her secret of keeping her partner Ryan Gosling happy.
According to Extra, Mendes now understands a lot about motherhood and pointed out that she realized how much her own mother never got a lot of "I love you so much mommy" messages from her. She then revealed that due to her recent realization, she texts her mom randomly saying that she loves her and that she is the best mom in the world.
Mendes said her daughter Esmeralda keeps her awake these days and that is why she cannot sleep a lot. She said her six-month-old daughter sometimes sleeps throughout the night but she suddenly does not want to and it can happen anytime. She shares sometimes she asks her daughter what is wrong because she thought they will be sleeping through the night but Esmeralda surprises her at three or four in the morning.
Aside from talking about her bundle of joy, she also discussed keeping her husband happy and that her secret rule is that women should never wear sweatpants calling it the number one cause of divorce in the United States.
Mendes wears skirts, figure hugging bottoms or dresses and keeps her sexy and classy style despite giving birth to Esmeralda, Us Weekly added.
Will Smith's "Hitch" co-actor added that her style is feminine and wants it to be sweatpants-free.
Mendes will be gracing the cover of Women's Health this April and she also talked about her secret of having that great post-baby body noting that she needed a lot of help with it and she wants to let all the women know that it takes a few months to shed off that baby weight.
