The latest episode of 'Grey's Anatomy' left the audience in a state of utter shock when it was shown that Derek might have cheated on Meredith with some woman, on his visit to Washington. Later on, it was revealed that Renee Collier was the character with whom Derek was shown to spend some time in DC.
Meredith calls Derek on his phone but she is instead shocked to hear the voice of a woman answering the phone. Her anxiety about Derek cheating on her comes to the surface but the episode doesn't answer the question of whether he cheated or not.
The promos of "Grey's Anatomy" showed that he was surely tempted towards kissing the mystery woman and she was also trying to allure him and throwing herself all over her.
Derek and Meredith are both aware that their marriage is not a very happy one at the moment and Derek will try to confront her in the next episode. He might or might not have cheated on her, but their marriage is on a stony edge and something needs to done either to fix it up or end it for the best.
Also, Owen's mom would be admitted to Grey-Sloan Memorial hospital in the latter part of the episode and Owen is shown to be very upset and in a state of shock when he gets to know about this situation.
Also, the noted Grey-Sloan Memorial hospital has to deal with an unfortunate accident and a number of patients in trauma because of that. All the resources of the hospital are stretched to the maximum as they battle to deal with the trauma.
