The highly publicized nasty divorce of Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey just got uglier. Latest report states that Carey is furious and feeling betrayed as Cannon has recently signed a deal with Simon & Schuster of Gallery Books to release a tell- all book focused on all the controversial details about his marriage to the American singer and songwriter.
Cannon has signed the deal for an undisclosed yet exorbitantly high amount. The 34-year-old actor was reportedly demanding $30 million from his wife to settle the divorce. Carey was willing to pay him $10 million, as decided in their pre-nuptial agreement.
"Mariah was willing to give Nick $10 million but he said 'hell no' and demanded $30," Daily Mail quoted a source. Cannon and Carey had endless arguments about the issue, but the singer refused to budge on the subject.
Cannon apparently decided to betray his ex-wife by reaching out to a publisher and allegedly selling the dark secrets of his six-year-old marriage to the publisher. The firm Simon & Schuster has confirmed officially signing a contract with Cannon.
Cannon is reportedly quite vengeful since divorce as he also resorted to date other women publicly soon after splitting from his 45-year-old ex-wife. The estranged couple is reportedly fighting over money matters and the custody of their twins since December last year.
However, back in January this year, Cannon had insisted on Twitter that he will never speak dirty or negative about his ex-wife, Mirror reported. Although the detail of the book is yet not confirmed officially, Carey's dark secrets about her rumored drug abuse, weird eating habits and her sexual predispositions are highly expected to be the part of the manuscript.
Cannon is also fighting for the custody of his children as he claims that Carey never wanted them at the first place. With the possibility of a book in near future, the world will soon know why the singer did not like children and her other living habits.
