The rumors about them breaking up started weeks ago after Stone continued to attend red carpet events without Garfield such as the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards, the 87th Annual Oscar Awards considering that Stone was nominated in the said events. The last time that the couple was seen together was when Garfield attended a dinner that honored the film "Birdman" last January held by Fox Searchlight. Garfield posed for photos with Stone back then and sported a massive amount of facial hair.

The source shared that the two are still on good terms and are not breaking up for good. Stone and Garfield, who have been together for three years now, are still friends and remain connected. However, there were no statements officially issued by both sides or from their representatives.

Another source revealed to Hollywood Life that the 26-year-old Stone and 31-year-old Garfield have also been fighting a lot due to the distance that's keeping them apart.

The report added that Garfield is busy with his new film entitled "Silence" as it is not shot in the United States but was taken in Taiwan. The shooting will be finished this coming May and reportedly, the couple will try to see what works best for them by then.

As for Stone, she is busy with her films such as "Aloha" and "Irrational Man" that will be out in the cinemas by May and July respectively.
