There will be more intense scenes in the next episode of "The Originals" Season 2. The upcoming April 20 episode of the CW TV series titled "When The Levee Breaks" will have Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) doing everything he can to protect his baby daughter Hope from the threat of Dahlia (Claudia Black), Klaus' powerful witch aunt who recently arrived in New Orleans.
According to a Carter Matt report, the CW Network released the official synopsis and promo video for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 19. The synopsis teases another bloody showdown in the upcoming episode because Dahlia gives Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) a deadline to hand over their first-born child, baby Hope, to her.
Elijah (Daniel Gillies) tries to convince his Original hybrid brother Klaus that they must work together in their plan of taking down Dahlia. However, Klaus decides to go on with his dangerous plan which makes everyone worried about what his next steps will be.
In the promo video shared on YouTube, Dahlia continues to cause trouble to the Mikaelson family members with the purpose of her arrival in New Orleans. Dahlia intends to fulfill the "First Born Curse" that she placed on the Mikaelsons through baby Hope.
Dahlia defeated Klaus, Mikael (Sebastian Roché), Freya and Elijah in the previous episode titled "Night Has A Thousand Eyes" when they tried to kill her with a weapon Davina (Danielle Campbell) created using a binding spell. Dahlia warns the Mikaelsons that they will have a taste of her power again if they do not give baby Hope to her.
Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) declares in the promo video that her brother has lost his mind. The next scenes show Klaus fighting off Elijah and declaring that he kills his enemies and sometimes even his friends.
The episode synopsis further teased Hayley will be asking for Aiden's (Colin Woodell) help in a risky plan she developed after realizing that they may not be able to defeat Dahlia. Elsewhere in the upcoming episode, Freya (Riley Voelkel) will be giving a proposition to her younger siblings, Rebekah and Elijah, while Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) plans on how to best deal with the unpredictable behavior of the Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson.
"The Originals" Season 2, episode 19 is scheduled to air on April 20, Monday night at 8/7c on the CW Network.
