The build-your-own-furniture store IKEA has recently announced that it will be integrating Qi charging with their furniture, which will help to charge the devices in a wireless fashion. It will start the production from April 2015.

This would mean that the mobile device users would not require plug in chargers anymore and can simply put their device on the IKEA furniture and let their device charge, Phone Dog reported.

The company's main focus point is on the fact that people simply hate the mess which carrying cables makes; and also the fact that people tend to misplace their chargers more often than not.

Thus, if the company gives them the power to charge their devices in a wireless way, it will be a total win win situation for both the company and the customers. This will make everyday life way simpler, the company's officials said in a recent interview, according to Android Central.

And for the customer base who wants to buy the QI chargers without having to buy full sets of furniture, there is an option available for those people also. IKEA will be launching Qi charging pads which can be inserted in an existing piece of furniture at office or at home and cab be used to convert the furniture in to a hub of wireless charging.

Since people are not very knowledgeable about this integration, it might take some time for them to adapt to this brilliant move by IKEA, the reports says. Europe and North America will be the first places to get a hands on this latest wireless charging technology.
