The battle between Android and iOS reached its height when two roommates stabbed each other after a heated argument. The duo were reportedly discussing which cell phone is better, the iPhone or Android.
Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma arrested a man for attacking his roommate with broken beer bottles. According to Huffington Post, a man named Elias Acevedo, 21, and Jiaro Mendez were on a drinking spree in the parking lot of their apartment building when they began arguing about cell phones.
The Android vs Apple battle soon took a serious turn when Acevedo allegedly hit Mendez at the back of his head with a beer bottle. Mendez fell to the ground after which the former flee from the spot.
Around 1 am, a woman called 911 to report a bloodied man stumbling around the parking lot, Alaska Native News reported. On its arrival, Police found Mendez covered in blood, having lacerations to the head and body and in highly intoxicated state. The man later told the police about his fight with his roommate over the superiority of cell phones.
Police found a couple of broken beer bottles on the ground at the scene of the crime. A significant amount of blood splatter was also found on the rear end of Mendez's car which was parked nearby.
Police found Acevedo in his apartment, covered in blood and several lacerations on his body. Both the men were taken to hospital. None of them received any serious life threatening injuries.
Both the men are taken into custody. Acevedo has a past record of being held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement body. The police is still trying to ascertain the aggressor in the stupendous fight.
