Netflix recently renewed the hit Marvel-inspired series entitled, "Daredevil" for a second season.

However, fans are already speculating on the possibility and some publications are also guessing as to what direction the second season could take.

In season one, Kingpin was sent to jail but it's obvious that his storyline wouldn't end there. In fact, there have been some talks that Kingpin would either continue running his empire from jail or he would ask his lawyer to bail him out, according to Gospel Herald.

Also during season 1, fans of the Marvel inspired series saw Karen Paige murder Kingpin's best friend, Wesley. Multiple sources are noting that Wilson Fisk will definitely hunt down Wesley's killer - another possible plot for season two.

In the hit "Daredevil" comic book, Paige died so it is also highly possible that her character would be killed off of the Netflix series.

Additionally, some of the most famous "Daredevil" characters were not introduced in season one.

Even though this was the case, showrunner Steven DeKnight recently hinted during an interview with SciFiNow that characters like Elektra and Bullseyes could be introduced if season two receives a "go."

"Looking forward, there are so many stories to tell. The Hand, Elektra, Bullseye... with a 13-episode arc you don't have to rush it; you can explore. That's not to say we are going to do Bullseye and Elektra, but it's on the radar," he told the publication.

The first season of Marvel's "Daredevil" is now available on Netlfix.
