"Bones" Season 10 Episode 16 airs this Thursday, April 30, on FOX. Hodgins is in the spotlight of this week's new episode synopsis. In the previous episode, meanwhile, Booth backslides into gambling after posing as a poker player to catch a criminal.

"Bones" Season 10 Episode 16 is titled "The Big Beef at the Royal Diner." A celebrity chef's death figures in crime of the week. Dr. Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne), meanwhile, celebrates his new rubber type invention, which viewers saw in Episode 15 ("The Eye in the Sky").
Also in this week's new episode, Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) writes "an anatomically correct song" to help her daughter Christine (Sunnie Pelant) learn about bones. Brennan, who is currently pregnant on and off camera, has no idea that her husband Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) is backsliding in addiction.
In the previous week's "Bones" Season 10 Episode 15, both Brennan and James Aubrey (John Boyd) get anxious about Booth's idea to go undercover as a poker player. Toward the end of the mission, Booth appears to have overcome his gambling instincts. In the final act of the episode, however, Booth calls his bookie for another round, this time, for real.
Hodgins, meanwhile, invents a multipurpose state-of-the-art rubber. It can, among other things, protect wine glass from breaking when it's dropped from about two or four feet high. The Jeffersonian could have some credit, but Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) makes it clear - prior to learning about Hodgins' invention - that everything Hodgins does in the lab should be officially work-related.
Incidentally, Camille's boyfriend Arastoo Vaziri (Pej Vahdat) is currently in Iran to care for his cancer-stricken brother. Cam is worried for his safety; she even tried to play the future wife card in her argument. But Arastoo was determined to be with his brother.
Hodgins earns millions; Booth backslides to addiction; Brennan is pregnant; and Camille is in a long distance relationship with someone who might not be able to come back to the states alive. These are some of the developing stories in "Bones" Season 10.
