In "Bates Motel" Season 3, Episode 8, Norma (Vera Farmiga) confesses to her son that she told James (Joshua Leonard) a big secret. Norman gets upset. The shrink he almost killed now knows that he did kill his own father. Norma says she will fix it.

Outside White Pine Bay, Dylan (Max Thierot) and Caleb (Kenny Johnson) find themselves in grave danger because of Chick (Ryan Hurst). Caleb saves Dylan's life and they get in a gunfight with Dylan's former partners in smuggling weapons. This means Dylan doesn't get the $ 25,000 for Emma's (Olivia Cooke) medical needs.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) finds out through Bob Paris (Kevin Rahm) that Norma Bates has been lying to him. This happens after he makes sure that Norma gets her old car back. He's disappointed that Norma just couldn't be honest to him.

In the end of "Bates Motel" Season 3, Episode 8, Norman loses it and runs after Juno in his hallucination. (Juno is the dog that he preserved through taxidermy.) Juno then leads Norman to a surprising White Pine Bay visitor, Bradley Martin (Nicola Peltz).

Bradley will also appear in "Bates Motel" Season 3, Episode 9, titled "Crazy." This is the penultimate episode of the season.
