A new working title for the upcoming "Spider-Man" has surfaced online - it is "Spider-Man: The New Avenger."

The title came from the knowledge that "Spider-Man" is going to be part of Joe and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War," in which the wall crawler has been speculated to team up with Iron Man, as per Christian Today.

Along with Spider-Man, War Machine, Ant-Man, and Vision are to join Iron Man's faction in the "Civil War" while Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, the Winter Soldier, and Falcon will be joining the first Avenger's faction.

Several directors have been shortlisted to take the director's chair and pilot "Spider-Man: The New Avenger." They are Jonathan Levine, Theodore "Ted" Melfi, Jason Moore, John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein, and Jared Hess.

As for the storyline of the film reboot, fans can expect to engage with Peter Parker before he became "Spider-Man," as per Youth Health.

According to Marvel head Kevin Feige, the film will focus on younger "Spider-Man" fighting the enemies and that concept is what they are excited about.

The underlying issue on the upcoming film reboot is the extent of uniqueness it will showcase to fans, given that the first two "Spider-Man" films centered on the web slinger's origin.

As of now, there is no official announcement yet on who will be the next Peter Parker. The top two contenders left are Asa Butterfield and Tom Holland, from a shortlist of five, along with Nat Wolff, Timothy Chalamet, and Liam James.

"Spider-Man: The New Avenger" is slated to premiere on July 27, 2017.
