"Jane the Virgin" ended its first season run on a high note. Jane has already given birth to her first child with Rafael, but their relationship continues to remain on the rocks. Her ex-boyfriend Michael, continues to shower her with love, care and support and their story could progress next season.
While the season 1 finale of "Jane the Virgin" showed how much Jane received from her family and friends, the second season of the hit series guarantees the character too much stress and countless reasons to worry, according to TV Line.
It has already been revealed that Jane's baby boy will be kidnapped by Sin Rosetro but "Jane the Virgin" executive producer Jennie Urman shared that this is not the biggest twist in season 2.
"I will say she is going to get that baby back fairly early on. We are a comedy, and you cannot laugh once there is a baby missing," she told the publication.
Also according to Urman, there will be another pregnancy in season 2, but obviously Jane will not be the one to get pregnant. Rather, it would be her nemesis, Petra.
At present, Petra still has Rafael's sperm sample and whether or not this is what she will use to get pregnant next season is something fans need to watch out for, Deadline reported.
Additionally, there will be an ongoing debate as to who Jane should be with. Some fans are rooting for Rafael, the real father of her baby Mateo, while others are rooting for Michael.
"Jane the Virgin" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
