"Pitch Perfect 2" became a huge hit all across the globe, but with the recent graduation of the members of Barden Bellas, fans are wondering what could happen to the franchise now that Emily Junk (Hailee Steinfeld) is the only person left to represent them.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Steinfeld said that there are still no talks as to whether or not "Pitch Perfect 3" will really happen, but if it will, then she considers herself "in."

If the franchise continues in a few years, Steinfeld said that she could see Emily as someone who could inspire and encourage the future members of the Barden Bellas, Kpopstarz reported.

Additionally, the actress, who is still in high school in real life, said that she can also see Emily taking on a big sister role and introducing new members to what she went through as a newcomer in the a cappella group.

Meanwhile, producer-cum-director Elizabeth Banks said that "Pitch Perfect 3" could happen if fans continue to embrace the Barden Bellas in the sophomore installment.

"If fans embrace it, we are going to seriously think about what the continuing journey would look like, but we do not know what that is yet," she said.

Banks also weighed in on her most favorite scene from the movie, which was the riff-off and revealed that she always knew what her vision for that scene was.

As for the upcoming third installment, Banks said that it's something she still has to figure out in the coming years.
