Bryan Singer has added another character in his upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse," the mutant tracker Caliban. Also, fans speculate that a set in "Apocalypse" signals a crossover with Tim Miller's "Deadpool" film.

Caliban has a significant link to Apocalypse in the Marvel comics, as per Joblo. However, his role in Singer's forthcoming film is still vague. The director posted the inclusion of the mutant-tracker on his Instagram account. It was captioned "Shooting Caliban's place of "business" #Xmen #XMenApocalypse."

The set in Singer's photo looks like a sewer, which links the phrase "place of business" in the caption. As per Independent, fans speculate that there is a possible crossover with "Deadpool" film, in which Caliban's co-Morlock, Angel Dust, is set to appear.

Caliban is best known for his mutant-tracking ability, in addition to his natural fighting, hunting, and scavenging skills. In the comics, Caliban was recruited by Callisto, the leader of the underground mutant group called the Morlocks.

While Callisto had learned to adapt Caliban's mutant-tracking ability, she used the latter to locate other mutants to form their underground community.

Caliban's name was taken from the ridiculous character in William Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest."

Singer has not made an official announcement on the actor who will portray the mutant-tracker, so fans have to wait at the moment.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to be the final film of the "X-Men: First Class" trilogy and it stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, and Lucas Till.

"Apocalypse" will also star new comers, including Alexandra Shipp, Olivi Munn, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, Lana Condor, Sophie Turner, and Tye Sheridan.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to premiere on May 27, 2016.
