Each glass of water you consume was once dinosaur pee, according to scientists at YouTube channel Curious Minds.

According to their video, a very minute percentage of all the water on earth is available for drinking purposes; however, it is still a large amount of water to provide for the requirements of each human being. About 121,000 cubic miles of water falls down on our planet each year, meaning this water has moved around the earth.

Dinosaurs were here far longer than human beings have ever been. In that long period of time, it is possible that the beasts have consumed all the water available back then and all the water present today is water that has passed through the kidneys of a dinosaur making its way through the everlasting water cycle.

According to the video, people drink a lot of water, but human species hasn't had the time to process a huge portion of the earth's water. By contrast, dinosaurs had a long time to consume water. The reign of the dinosaurs lasted for 186 million years. That gave dinosaurs time to consume a lot of water. While most water molecules have never been consumed by another person, almost every single water molecule has been consumed by a dinosaur, International Business Times reported.

Charles Fishman said in his book "The Big Thirst: The Secret Life and Turbulent Future of Water" that the molecules of water are very resilient and it is possible that all water molecules available now were the same water molecules present for billions of years.

The author further said that all the water on our planet has been passed through a dinosaur kidney.

According to the book "The Future of Water: A Startling Look Ahead," the water that dinosaurs consumed is the same water human beings consume today, and the amount of water on our planet is the same as well, Daily Mail Online reported.
