"Trainwreck" star Amy Schumer turned up the heat at the 74th annual Peabody Awards ceremony on May 31, Sunday night, when she shared a hot, steamy kiss with fellow comedienne, "30 Rock" creator Tina Fey.

"Amy Schumer is killing it right now, as the agents like to say," said the 45-year-old stunner as she made a surprise appearance at the ceremony to honor the star, who has won Peabody Award for her Comedy Central show "Inside Amy Schumer."

Fey further said in her speech that she proposed the idea of giving "Madonna treatment" to Schumer in the form of a staged lesbian kiss, but after getting a vehement approval from the latter's camp, she decided to back out. But as Schumer came on stage, Fey apparently changed her mind again and went ahead to kiss the star.

The women started with a light peck, which soon turned out to be a staged passionate make-out session, Daily Mail reported.  The two wrapped their arms around each other and pressed their faces too close to the amusement of the cheering crowd. The ladies ended their rendezvous with a high-five.

Fey and Schumer were last seen on small screen together on the award winning show's sketch "Last F***able Day," in which she stumbled upon Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Patricia Arquette, who were celebrating Louis-Dreyfus' last f****able day in Hollywood.

Schumer, who started her career with "Last Comic Standing," seems to be hitting the right notes these days. The fans of the comedienne went frenzy recently when she was reported to be being considered for the next season of "The Bachelorette," ET Online has learned.

The rumors began when ABC Entertainment Senior VP of Alternative Series, Specials and Late Night Programming Robert Mills jokingly tweeted to the comedian that if she is ready, they can start work immediately.
