"The Flash" fans could see their favorite character Barry Allen in the upcoming sophomore season of the hit the CW series on October 6. Although the date has not been confirmed yet, there are justifications that the network could premiere season 2 on the said date.

According to Den of Geek, every single season of "Arrow" premiered on the first Wednesday night ahead of the New York Comic Con and this year, the event is set on June 8, Monday.

The publication noted that because of this, "Arrow"" will most likely premiere on Oct. 7 and "The Flash," which premiered on Tuesday night, will most likely air on Oct. 6.

Although "The Flash" creators and The CW has not yet confirmed such reports, fans seem to be happy knowing that they do not have to wait much longer before they could watch their favorite series again.

In fact, ahead of season two's premiere, lead star Grant Gustin already teased fans with the possible direction "The Flash" would take.

Additionally, there have been reports that Barry's friends at S.T.A.R labs, specifically Cisqo and Caitlyn, will become Meta-Humans in season 2, Kpopstarz reported.

In season 1, Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanagh) told Cisco (Carlo Valdes) that he is destined for greater things, an obvious indication that he would certainly reveal his Vibe persona in the upcoming season.

Caitlyn (Danielle Panabaker) previously confirmed that she will become Killer Frost in the future, but did not specifically say whether or not her transformation will take place in season 2.
