The God of Thunder went back to Asgard to gain more knowledge about his visions as well as the Infinity Stones. As per the publication, Thanos will go to Thor's kingdom to get the Tesseract, as this will be a step closer to achieve is pursuit for infinite power.

Thanos is really powerful even without the Infinity Stones, while Thor also possesses considerable strength, along with his Mjolnir hammer and his ability to summon lightning.

It is assumed that Thanos' appearance in Asgard would indicate a heated battle with the Asgardians, and most likely, with the lead Asgardian himself, Thor.

The god of Thunder is also speculated to be initially defeated by the Mad Titan in Asgard and they will have another battle in Joe and Anthony Russo's "Avengers: Infinity War."

Meanwhile, Loki is set to die in "Thor: Ragnarok," as per Day Herald. Loki's head will be ripped off by his brother if the Ragnarok storyline in the comics is followed.

There is also a possibility that "Ragnarok" will feature the colossal fire evil Surtur, who is capable of spreading flames, leading to the destruction and fall of Asgard.

There is no official announcement yet on who will sit on the director's chair and helm the upcoming film. Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost are on board to pen the screenplay for the next "Thor" movie.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to premiere on Nov. 3, 2017.
