According to reports, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update will roll out to many Sony, Samsung and Nexus devices.

The Android 5.1.1 custom ROMs are available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as well as Samsung Galaxy S3. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners should note that units that carry model number SM-N9005 will support the firmware, according to Master Herald.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S3 owners need to make sure that they have model number I9300 before installing and running the Android 5.1.1 update. The BlissPop ROM is believed to carry several customization features based on CyanogenMod 12.1.

There is some good news for owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 who are waiting for Samsung to release Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the phablet. The South Korean-based Samsung has plans to release the Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 4 by the July end, SamMobile reported.

Android 5.1.1 is also available for Sony Xperia Z. The Xperia Z owners should note that they need to root their smartphones through SuperSU before installing the Android 5.1.1 update.

Also, according to reports, owners of Nexus 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 will be receiving Android 5.1.1 update. The software giant Google released factory Android 5.1.1 Lollipop images for the Nexus 9 LTE version, Nexus 5 and Nexus 4, Latin Post reported. However, there is no information about when these updates will roll out over-the-air.  

The Google Nexus 7 (second-generation) has got its Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in April. The Nexus 6 does have Android 5.1 update but does not have Android 5.1.1. The Nexus player set-top box, Nexus 10 and Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi only version) should already have Android 5.1.1 lollipop update.
