The Chinese jailbreak developers Pangu have successfully demonstrated the iOS 8.3 jailbreak at the 2015 Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) in Shanghai.
Daneil_K4, a member of Pangu team, has posted pictures of the presentation on Chinese social community Weibo. The Pangu team is planning to release the jailbreak after the software giant Apple launches the final edition of iOS 8.4, International Business Times reported.
According to previous reports, Apple was ready to release the final edition of iOS 8.4 at the 2015 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). However, the company may postpone the release for fixing the music app bug that allegedly crashes the iMessage app on iOS. According to 9to5Mac, the iOS 8.4 release may be postponed till the last week of June. The Worldwide Developer Conference will begin from June 8, 2015
According to rumors, iOS 8.4 will arrive with new Music app that includes revamped Beats Music-based streaming service.
In April, well-known hacker Stefan Esser published a video on his YouTube channel showing an iPhone 6 Plus running jailbroken iOS 8.4 beta 1 version.
Furthermore, the software company Apple is reportedly working on a new security feature for OS X 10.11 and iOS 9 known as Rootless that will be a huge blow to the jailbreaking group.
The feature will inhibit administrative-level users from being able to access specific protected files on Apple devices. However, the Rootless security feature can reportedly be disabled on OS X. Also, jailbreakers have confirmed that the Rootless security feature will not end jailbreaking.
