Tekken 7 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release date is expected to be on July 17 to 19 at the EVO 2015 tournament in Las Vegas.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions are reportedly in the development stage and will hit the shelves soon. There is no official word from Bandai Namco as of now, but, the company will probably reveal the details at the game's showcase at the said event, according to Franchise Herald.

Tekken 7 was first launched in its arcade version in Japan on Feb. 18 and its worldwide launch followed a month after. Bandai Namco has been constantly treating the fans with character announcements and game play trailers following the successful arcade launch.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Tekken 7 will reportedly have four new characters and more new characters to be added, said Tekken 7 producer Katsuhiro Harada, according to Silicon Era. (please review your sentences).

The original character lineup includes Josie Rizal, Gigas, Shaheen, Katarin, Lucky Chloe and Claudio, in the game will likely have additional upgrades. The company is said to have no plans on reducing the number of characters, and the game will still have recurring characters. The most recent inclusions in the roster of Tekken 7 characters is the fighter, Yoshimitsu, with significant redesigns over the years giving a look like a mix of an alien and an octopus.

Tekken 7 PS4 and Xbox One versions will reportedly be powered by Unreal Engine 4 as "Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring 'Tekken 7' to any platform we desire," Harada said.
