Sony's next-gen console, the PS4, may not be brimming with first-party exclusives, but it has gotten hold of some exclusive content for upcoming AAA games. The first of these is "Destiny," wherein the recently announced The Taken King DLC will have some content exclusive to the PS4 and PS3.

This is the third expansion to hit "Destiny," and one that is expected to debut this fall. PlayStation is continuing the trend of offering some exclusive items and maps for its players once the content becomes available, PlayStation Blog reported.

The Taken King will pit players against Oryx and the Taken. According to developer Bungie, it will offer quite a different experience in terms of fighting off against enemies that are far from what players have experienced before.

For PlayStation players, there will be an exclusive co-op strike called the Echo Chamber. It is a fight against time and Vex, who are looking to change history and the victories that went with it. Sector 618 will also be a competitive multiplayer map exclusive to the PS4 and PS3. This one will appeal to those who enjoyed Clash and Control modes, and it will provide a challenge with its terrain formation.

Some exotic weapons and gear include the Jade Rabbit, which is a Scout Rifle with a 13-shot magazine. And for Guardians who are already above level 20, there will be new armor sets that can be obtained for each class. The Taken King is set to arrive on Sept. 15.

Another title from which the PlayStation players will benefit first from is "Assassin's Creed Syndicate." The awaited title from Ubisoft, which will be featuring a pair of twins for the main characters, will have PlayStation-exclusive content, GameSpot reported.

The content comes in the form of the Dreadful Crimes missions. Players can choose to play either as Jacob or Evie as they solve different crimes. The crimes pay homage to Conan Doyle who is considered to have penned one of the most popular detectives to date.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will be available on Oct. 23. Given the expansion of the world, it will only be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
