Almost three months before "Empire" season 2 premiered on Sept. 23, Taraji P. Henson, 44, was brought to the hospital because of a bad case of food poisoning. The award-winning actress took to Instagram to tell her fans that she is doing okay.

Since arriving back from Europe on June 18, Henson had trouble keeping food down, according to TMZ. She later on posted a photo of her arm with an IV drip with a caption, "God has a way of saying "you're doing too much!" "SAT DOWN SOMEWHERE". I'm listening Father!!! I am taking several seats!!!"

"Don't worry y'all I'm a tough cookie!" Henson also wrote. "HA! I will be just fine. My momma and best friends are flying in to check on me. I AM FINE!!!!!!! Just need to SAT ALL THE WAY DOWN for a bit. #listentoyourbody."

Since she played Cookie Lyon on the hit Fox drama "Empire," Henson has become one of the most in-demand Hollywood actresses. Included in her busy schedule is a recent visit to Monaco at the 2015 Monte Carlo TV Festival to promote "Empire" season 2, New York Daily News reported.

Henson is set to reprise her role Cookie Lyon in "Empire" season 2 with Terrence Howard, Bryshere Y. Gray, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers, Grace Gealey, Kaitlin Doubleday, Ta'Rhonda Jones and Gabourey Sidibe, among others.

Other guest stars who will appear in "Empire" season 2 are Nicki Minaj's "Girl On Fire" collaborator Alicia Keys, "Again" singer Lenny Kravitz, "She Knows" singer Ne-Yo and "Grown Ups" star Chris Rock.
