"Empire" season 2 producers are looking for a baby-faced young actress to play a new recurring role named Betty Barz. Since Willow Smith, 14, and Quvenzhané Wallis, 11, are too young and Nicki Minaj, 32, is too old for the role, Zendaya is the first name that comes to mind.
Also known as Betty Gathers and The Queen O' 16S, Betty Barz is a moody and outspoken African-American teenage rapper to be introduced in "Empire" season 2 episode 1 titled "The Devils Are Here," according to TVLine. Here are top 5 actresses who can give justice to the character:
1. Disney Channel star Zendaya, 18
Zendaya starred in Disney Channel's "Shake It Up" from 2010 to 2013 and she currently plays K.C. Cooper in the network's "K.C. Undercover." In 2013, her self-titled debut album was released. Her song "Replay" peaked at number 40 at the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014.
