The LG G4 sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 808 chipset. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The G4 has a 16 MP rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization and an 8 MP front-facing camera. It boasts a 3,000 mAh battery and has 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the LG G5 will be released before the year ends. The smartphone release may come with a retinal scanner at a budget-friendly price, WCCF Tech reported.

The iris scanning technology is a big move for the electronics company LG since it will render the fingerprint scanner included in Apple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones out of date.

The retina technology will function using the front camera of the smartphone. It will firstly scan the user's iris and then compare it with the stored biometric data.

If the iris scanning technology will really be incorporated in the smartphone, then it will be possible for the LG G5 owners to unlock their devices with one glance.

The LG G5 will have a 5.6-inch quad HD sapphire screen display, 5.1 MP front-facing camera and 20 MP back camera. The LG G5 will be powered by an octa-core 2.9 ghz Snapdragon Qualcomm 810 chipset. According to reports, the handset will carry the price tag of $900.
