With Jon Watts' "Spider-Man" coming to theaters two years from now, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has talked about the villains of the icon superhero in the upcoming film.

Feige told Birth Movies Death during the weekend press junket for Peyton Reed's upcoming film "Ant-Man" that the studio is interested to feature antagonists that fans have not seen in the predecessors of the "Spider-Man" film.

Since Watts' "Spider-Man" is not set to be an origin story, there are many possibilities on the characters who will be seen with Tom Holland in the big screen, according to Cinema Blend.

Some villains that have the chance to be part of the upcoming film include the master hypnotist and magician Mysterio, the gifted tactician Kraven The Hunter, then genius electrical engineer Vulture, the reformed burglar Black Cat, the skilled hand-to-hand fighter Jackal, and Nobel Prize-winning biochemist Dr. Michael Morbius.

While the new "Spider-Man" film aims to focus on a new set of villain, Marvel can still lay the foundation for their existence by integrating vital icons in Spider-Man's world. An example is Peter Parker's antagonist, Norman Osborn, who can be made known as a sinister persona before becoming a complete villain for the iconic web-slinger.

Spider-Man is set to enter Marvel's Cinematic Universe in Joe and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" prior to his solo film. "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 6, 2016 while Watts' solo "Spider-Man" film is set to hit the big screen on July 28, 2017.
