The United States should legalize marijuana already across the country, according to "Ted 2" stars Amanda Seyfried, Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane, the creator and director of the comedy film.

"Ted 2" features scenes of the large teddy bear named Ted smoking weed so it is not surprising for Seyfried, Wahlberg and MacFarlane to support the legalization of marijuana in the U.S., where it is legal to sell and possess marijuana both for recreational and medical use only in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and Washington.

In an interview with Metro, Seyfried said she does not smoke weed herself but she has many friends who do. She said is quite surprised that the U.S. government has yet to legalize marijuana in all states.

In other news, Wahlberg has admitted he is happy that he did not have any responsibilities for problems on set in "Ted 2" although he does like being a producer as he has branched out into producing for TV series "Boardwalk Empire" and other films such as "Prisoners" and "Lone Survivor."

"I love producing and having the responsibility of watching every aspect of the film," Irish Examiner quoted Wahlberg as saying. "But then also I liked just being an actor for hire for Ted 2 and not having to worry about it."

"Something's melting down, instead of diving into the problem I go and sit in my trailer, watch a little sports until they've figured it out," Wahlberg also said adding that he is not interested in seeing his own life on a film.
