Fan interest in the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X" new DLC character Tremor has been overwhelming. As proof, fans have started to mine the localization files of the PC edition of the game to find clues as to what Tremor will bring on the table.

One fan and Redditor Murdoink found the three variations of Tremor, namely Aftershock, Metallic and Crystalline. As the name implies, Aftershock shows off Tremor with earthquake moves. Metallic will give Tremor gold and lava armor. Crystalline allows Tremor to summon a Krystal. The Metallic and Crystalline variations also affect Tremor's common specials, so this may also change the properties.

Tremor is one of the "Mortal Kombat X" characters that were added as a fan favorite. This was one of the exceptions that developer NetherRealm Studios saw. There has been an insistent demand for Tremor that the studio complied. Fan demand came in the form of both tweets to NetherRealm Studios Creative Head Ed Boon and petitions online.

The latest DLC is not the only update for "Mortal Kombat X." Over at the Google Play Store, the mobile companion fighting app, has received a new update that bolsters the roster of character variants.

The character variants Flaming Fist Liu Kang, Piercing Mileena and Heavy Weapons Jax will now be part of "Mortal Kombat X." The update will also add new Revenant characters via the NetherRealm Packs. To get these, players should have at least 850 souls to get a pack complete with gold cards Revenant Sub-Zero, Quan-chi and Revenant Jax, Android Authority reported.

"Mortal Kombat X" is introducing new field of Towers. The developer also added a new Equipment Pack, which players can use to power up your Kombatants more easily.
