Verizon recently rolled out the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS update to Moto DROID Turbo, but users encountered a few bugs and issues in the handset.

While it is not unusual for users to complain on some bugs and issues brought in by the update, but Verizon and Motorola released some suggestions on how to troubleshoot some of the problems.

Below are the following bugs and issues some users experience when they downloaded Android 5.1 Lollipop OS update to the Verizon Motorola DROID Turbo.  

Installation Problems

Problem: Some users reported that installing the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS update in Moto DROID Turbo takes forever, with some owners saying that the download never finished and become stuck at one point.

Fix: Verizon and Motorola advised owners to download and install the Android 5.1 OS update via fast and stable WiFi connection. Handsets should also have at least 50% of battery life.

Battery Issues

Problem: Various owners voiced out that different battery problems were encountered upon installing the Android 5.1 update. According to Android Origin, Verizon Moto DROID Turbo handsets tend to overheat due to some bugs. Other users claimed that charging the battery is slower than usual.

Fix: Try charging the handset full at first, then recharge it fully again when the battery is 5 percent. Do this around two to three times. When in doubt, try resetting the handset in its factory settings.

Connectivity Problems

Problem: According to Gotta Be Mobile, Verizon Moto DROID Turbo has WiFi and Bluetooth problems. Users complained that the handsets are not connecting to WiFi and are having issues with Bluetooth connectivity.

Fix: For WiFi problems, try unplugging your router, then reconnecting it and your device in the connection. For Bluetooth issues, try toggling off the Bluetooth and toggling it back on.

Lag Performance

Problem: While DROID Turbo has fast processing power, a big update like Android Lollipop is bound to encounter some problems.

Fix: Users can do a full system factory reset or clear the cache on the device to clean the system cache.
