Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart recently opened up about filming sex scenes for the "Twilight" franchise. The former couple shared that although they may be dating during the shoot, it was still difficult to live up to the chemistry that fans expect from Edward and Bella.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Stewart shared that she actually looked forward to doing intimate scenes with Pattinson on "Twilight." The actress shared that what only bothered her was the pressure that goes with it. She said that she hated how they have to make it look like it was the best sex that one could ever imagine, given that they were both played immortals characters.
In the movie, the whole bedroom was destroyed when the couple started being intimate. Stewart recounted that she and Pattinson, along with the producers, were afraid of how the fans would view the intimate scenes.
Meanwhile, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Pattinson shared that a lot of things have changed since they filmed the last "Twilight" movie. The actor recalled that they have never imagined that the film would gain such a huge following. When Taylor Lautner came into the picture, Pattinson revealed that he was a bit uncomfortable with how they were pitted against each other.
Pattinson said the fans started to create teams which created tension between the stars. The actor, however, immediately added that he continued to stay in touch with both Stewart and Lautner. He added that they remained friends after shooting the box-office franchise.
