LeBron James seems to be doing well on the good-better-best ladder, but the NBA star has a strong conviction that he can still get better as he prepares for next year's games.

In an interview on Bleacher Report Radio on July 12, the Cleveland Cavalier superstar said that he believes he can do better as a player next season.

"People mostly look at me differently, asking, 'How could you likely get better?'" James said. "I am strongly convinced that there is much room for improvement, either a basketball player, leader or even psychologically that can make me a better person in the team. I am expecting exactly that."

James revealed his training program that he would come back to the gym in late August before returning full-strength with twice-a-day training in September. He unveiled his intention to work out with a few opponents and some of his teammates in the gym.

The confidence seems real, but his improvement depends on how much James invested for the early part of last season. He was an MVP-type player the moment he came back in January all the way through the closure of the normal season, CBS Sports reported.

Before reaching his heights, James was in the category of just "really good, slightly above 90 percent of the NBA", which has dwindled significantly. He did not have his focus on the defense, and he took almost the entire season to adjust and know how to utilize his power.

Based on his performance, it is likely that he will come back with a little improved offensive game next season. The megastar added moves initially, and in 2013, he polished his 3-point shot to greater heights.

Meanwhile, it is getting more difficult to perceive a better James amid his continuous improvement every year.
