Several  LG G2, LG G3 and LG G4 owners are stuck with some form of older Android Lollipop firmware.
Given below is the Android 5.1.1 and 5.1 Lollipop release news for LG G2, G3 and G4 (T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T).

LG G4 owners should have Android 5.1 right out of the box. According to Tech Times, there are not any plans for Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for LG G4. The electronics maker LG is planning a jump directly to Android M for the G4. However, according to a Gotta Be Mobile report, the LG G4 may get the 5.1.1 upgrade soon.

Furthermore, reports also suggest that the LG may not push Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the LG G3, and may wait for a timely update with Android M. Recently, there was an update with a labelled version of VS98524B, or 24B. This update is not to 5.1.1 and 5.1; however, it does include some new features such as Bluetooth button to the in-call screen.

Notification can now be set to completely off and the Lollipop Interrupt feature form has been implemented. Furthermore, LTE Video Calling will be automatically disabled if the consumer is not subscribed to the service.

The advice for LG G2 users is to wait for their Android 5.1 update. There does not appear to be any confirmation of an Android 5.1 Lollipop rollout available at all. However, according to International Business Times report, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update will be available for LG G2 users soon.
