Kate Middleton has a new title. She is not just the Duchess of Cambridge, she is also the "Duchess of Do-Little."

No, that's not a misspelling. It's not for Doolittle, but for doing little, a "title" that reportedly came from the Queen who was allegedly angry at the mother of Prince George for missing on July 10 a planned lunch to honor World War II pilots, reports Skynews. Although the monarch did not publicly chastise her granddaughter-in-law, Life Style magazine cites a Buckingham Palace insider as the source of the latest royal conflict.

In-law problem is not a new thing after all to Kate who also had brushes with stepmother-in-law Camilla Parker-Bowles. However, while a conflict with the Duchess of Cornwall may not reduce Kate's popularity with Brits since many still prefer the late Princess Diana over Camilla as partner for Prince Charles, it is another matter being on the opposite side of Her Majesty - not that she would cry "Off with her head!"

Defenders of the 33-year-old duchess may cite Kate's recent childbirth to Princess Charlotte as reason behind her possible tiredness. However, prior to not showing up for the lunch, she attended the Wimbledon tennis championships and also hosted Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at Kensington Palace.

Her "no show" reportedly annoyed other members of Britain's royal family. And this is not the first time that Kate has failed to meet her royal duties, earning for her the lazy tags, including "Lazy Katie."

The palace insider explains the Queen's anger as coming from her upbringing, possibly a generational gap, because her philosophy is that fulfilling duties comes before everything else, including personal matters. That apparently explains her 75 years of reign over Britain.

He hints that relations between the blue-blooded and non-royal members in Buckingham has always been awkward and tense, and acknowledges it is not easy marrying into the royal family. However, SkyNew cited another source as saying that the duchess had enough and told her husband, Prince William, she would not be ordered which commitments to attend - not even if the command comes from Queen Elizabeth, the reigning monarch.

British tabloids have published reports in October 2014 that Kate banned Camilla from seeing Prince George as her revenge for "cruel insults" allegedly dissed by Prince Charles's second wife on her over the years.
