The romantic crooner Ed Sheeran helps friend and Rixton star Jake Roche propose to his girlfriend and Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, on Sunday at the Manchester Arena stage.
The 22-year-old Roche posted a photo of the memorable event over his Instagram account where he was on his one knee waiting for a 'yes' from his girl and Sheeran was on the background. The Rixton's singer revealed how he and Nelson first met in the same arena last year.
Jesy Nelson, in turn, posted a similar photo on her own Instagram account as well. After the special moment of the couple on stage, other band members of Rixton sent out their sincerest congratulations via their twitter accounts, @Lewi_Rixton and @Charley_Rixton.
The once in a lifetime Ed Sheeran favored wedding proposal proved how the singer has been really good friends with Roche. The two singers became closer when the "Thinking Out Loud" singer personally asked Roche's band to perform with him during his US tour.
In Roche's other post about his proposal, he tagged Ed Sheeran as he expressed his incomparable gratitude to the famous singer. Roche tweeted his big thanks to Sheeran whom he mentioned to have allotted a five hour traveling time just to do the favor Roche asked. To this, it was hinted how the friendly gesture was paid with some KFC the way Sheeran replied to the message posted by the Rixton singer.
It seemed that the "Photograph" singer-songwriter spend his rest day playing an acoustic rendition of one of his songs "Tenerife Sea" during the sound check session of Nelson's band, Little Mix, BBC UK reported.
Meanwhile, Sheeran himself made loud Internet abuzz with rumors that romantically linked him with "Love Me Like You Do" singer Ellie Goulding, US Magazine reported. Despite the speculations of the two British singers' fans, there was never any confirmation that they truly became a couple.
